Agrupamento de Escolas de Casquilhos

Agrupamento de Escolas de Casquilhos is a school cluster located in Barreiro. It is a public general education organization consisting of five schools, offering education from kindergarten to 12th grade. In total, the cluster serves approximately 2,000 students and employs 200 teachers.

As it provides all levels of education, the cluster offers basic education up to the 9th grade. For upper secondary education, in addition to the general education program, which includes all four scientific-humanistic courses (Sciences and Technologies, Languages and Humanities, Socioeconomics, and Visual Arts), the cluster also offers two professional courses: Fashion Design and Commerce.

Moreover, our cluster has a significant number of students with special education needs and disabilities, who are integrated into inclusive classrooms, ensuring access to mainstream education and benefiting from quality learning experiences.

The development of national and international projects on various topics, along with the implementation of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, are also integral to our school routine.
